DIY Valentine’s Day Crafts for Preschoolers: Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas!
Valentine’s Day Crafts for Kiddos
Valentine’s Day Crafts for Preschoolers & Toddlers:
After Christmas can be hard for me. I feel like I gear up for it in late August and then on December 26th, it’s all over. The tree comes down, the house feels naked, and I’m left with months of winter without a big holiday.
I know. I’m whining. But I can’t be the only one who feels this way, right?
ENTER: Valentine’s Day. I used to think this holiday was only for couples, heart-shaped chocolate boxes, and roses. When I became a mom, I started to see Valentine’s Day as an opportunity. What if Valentine’s Day could be longer than just a day?
So, for the past two years, I’ve embraced Valentine’s for Caleigh and my girlfriends. If you have kiddos and are looking to get out of your winter, slump, this DIY Valentine’s Day Crafts video is NEW and waiting for you!
And BONUS, mama friend, once we made this play dough, Caleigh (who is 5), played with it ALONE for an HOUR. Yes, sixty whole minutes where she chatted, added beads, rolled it around, and decorated hearts. So before you roll those pretty eyes at yet another DIY Valentine’s Day craft, try it. It’s easy, fun, and will pay off for you until the dough runs dry!
In case your kiddo loves science like my girl does, there is also a Valentine’s Day Volcano activity included in the video as well!
