Spring Wish List

Sunshine, early birds chirping, and tiny purple crocuses popping up in the garden are all happy indicators of spring from our friend, Mother Nature. In consumer world, it’s launch season! This means new everything from apparel to beauty to home. And while I am working on living more financially responsible, a girl can still look. Welcome to my Spring Wish List!

Spring Wish List Beauty Edition:

Spring Wish List: Tatcha
Retails for $68

Perhaps #1 on my wish list is Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream. Tatcha products rank at the very tippet top of my skincare favorites and their Dewy Skin Mist, a Kardashian secret from long ago, has been in my makeup routine for years. This cream is supposed to be the best of the mist, including scent, leaving your skin looking plump and spring fresh.

Spring Wish List: Drunk Elephant
Retails for $34

New to the Drunk Elephant line is the Slaai cleanser. Drunk Elephant is a brand I trust and like Tatcha, is something I turn to when looking for new or replacement products. Their skincare line is clean, which I really value for my sensitive skin. I’m almost out of my current cleanser (Purity) and may have to treat myself to this green beauty!

Spring Wish List: Christian Dior
Retails for $220

I’ve been using the same perfume scents since I was 21. I rotate between Clean’s Skin and Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue. Recently, I’ve added in Kate Spade’s Walk On Air and Replica’s Beach Walk, but I think I’m just coveting Christian Dior’s Holy Peony scent. Peonies hold a special place in my family’s history. Their light scent reminds me of my Nana who grew them in her garden. In fact, when Marc and I bought our first home, I built a front garden around Sarah Bernhardt peonies because of my grandmother. They are my favorite flower for their visual grandeur and intoxicating aroma. This is a splurge, which is why it’s on my Wish List and not my vanity!

Spring Wish List: Fashion Edition

Spring Wish List: Merry
Retails for $148

I have always loved a denim jacket. In fact, I still have mine from high school – holes in the elbows and all. It’s my most FAVORITE piece of clothing I have. It’s a cornerstone of my personal brand. I love all washes and styles, but this Merly from Able makes my heart race. Pieces I know I’m going to keep forever (and I do mean forever) can be a little pricier in my opinion. Plus, Able is an exceptional company. On their website in the About section, it says, “ABLE is a lifestyle brand focused on ending generational poverty through providing economic opportunity for women.” They publish wages for the women who make their clothing, too. Seriously, check them out. Their garments are gorgeous and stand the test of time.

Spring Wish List: Tory Burch
Retails for $198

Doesn’t this beautiful bag scream spring?! Tory Burch’s Miller Straw Phone Crossbody is a bag I could have sketched from my dreams. As a mama, I live in a crossbody. I have a Kate Spade seafoam bag that I have loved for years. It’s carried squished flip-flops from nightclubs (shoe change when my heels hurt!) to clean diapers folded in creative ways to make fit. Ms. Burch’s little beauty is definitely a step up from dear old Kate. That straw detailing and color scheme – yes, please! (Also, this would look INSANE over the Merly!).

Spring Wish List: Target
Retails for $24.99

So I guess I’m having a thing for straw? Don’t these look more expensive than Target’s $24.99 price tag? These slip ons will go with so many outfits and absolutely carry you into summer months! They feel very chic “mom on the go” and while they come in a darker shade, I am living for this light tan. Pair with skinny jeans with a natural hem and a cute tee. Spring uniform?

Spring Wish List: Lifestyle Edition

Spring Wish List: Rachel Hollis

Ray Ray Hollis is my GO TO girl these days! Truly, her podcast – Rise – is what inspired me to get this blog going. Girl, Stop Apologizing is the companion book to her first, Girl, Wash Your Face. She is honest, direct, and I personally find her hilarious. This is on my Next list (the short one, not the forever list!).

Spring Wish List: Stojo Pocket Cup
Retails for $14.99

Lately, I’ve been thinking about my personal impact on the environment with my everyday choices. I have used reusable mugs/cups for years and just added reusable straws to my daily life. This little rose Stojo Pocket Cup is both functional and gorgeous. It collapses to fit back into any bag (even the Miller!). And for $14.99, you can feel good about this purchase and what you look like carrying your drink for all the world to see!

What are some items on your Spring Wish List? I hope this inspires you!

Happy Spring-ing,

C
